Alumni Association
The Alumni Association was developed to provide a professional membership organization to NYIM
graduates. Benefits include continuing education opportunities, networking and
business contacts, referral services, and membership in the Associated Bodywork
and Massage Professionals (ABMP) organization. Discounts are also available for
professional insurance, massage therapy supplies, equipment, and NYIM student
clinic treatments.
Meeting Schedule
Our next meeting is scheduled for
Wednesday January 20th at 7:00 pm at NYIM.
We will be doing a table massage exchange so bring your sheets and oil. We all
need de-stress from the hoildays, come and take time for yourself.

We are also looking for ideas on a
location for the Alumni dinner this year and any other
suggestions that may help improve the alumni association.

Fellow Alumni:
I would like to introduce myself (Alicia M. Jaworski) as your new Alumni President. I am a
2004 graduate of the New York Institute of Massage. I currently work out of the
Pilates co-op located in Orchard Park, John Roberts Salon and Spa in Eden, and I
am a clinic assistant at NYIM. The Vice President Jennifer A. Greene LMT, CIMI
graduated in 2006 and is currently the head Program Coordinator of the Massage
Therapy Department Kaleida Healthcare Women & Children’s Hospital of Buffalo
Developed June 2007. We would like to increase involvement of Alumni members and
would like to hear anything that you think would improve this association.
Communication is our # one goal, we will be sending out a monthly letter to let
you know what is going on, when meetings are scheduled , what our account
balance is and any new events that may come up. Along with the regular meeting we will have a
guest speaker to address these questions and many others. We hope to see you
there. Please send an e-mail or give us a call at 633-0355 X203 and leave a
message if you will be attending this meeting. We need a head count ahead of
time to provide you with the information and hand outs that you will need to
take with you.
