Class Name:  Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

Class Description:  The purpose of this course is to teach the student how to properly assess and treat a client who suffers from Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.  The student will learn about the osteology of the carpal tunnel, as well as the signs and symptoms of CTS.  The class will give a thorough explanation of the most common entrapment sites for the Median Nerve.  All of the muscles affected by CTS will be covered, including how to stretch, strengthen and massage each muscle. 

This is a great class for all Licensed Massage Therapists who are looking to improve their skills on treating conditions that affect the upper extremity!

Instructor Biography:  Dr. Fronczak is a 1999 graduate of the New York Chiropractic College.  He also earned a B.S. in Biology from St. John Fisher College. Dr. Fronczak is the A.C.T. Program Coordinator at NYIM.
