Course Name: Massage & Fibromyalgia (7 Hours)

Course Description: This course will review the etiology, progression and characteristics of fibromyalgia and help participants gain a more complete understanding of sufferers of this condition.  Students will learn how to effectively communicate with clients with fibromyalgia as well as how to perform an effective pre-therapy interview. Students will also learn how to approach goal setting and client interaction during therapy.  Students will engage in a hands-on portion of the course where they will observe and demonstrate massage techniques appropriate for the client with fibromyalgia.
