Classes are offered at 3 convenient times:
AM – Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. | |
PM – Monday-Friday, 1:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. | |
EVE- Monday-Friday, 6:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. |
New terms begin approximately every twelve weeks. NYIM reserves the right to add or cancel any class start date or section as it deems necessary. Every consideration will be given to students assisting in their enrollment in an alternate section or date as enrollment space permits. Listed below are the program start/end dates (for the 48 week/full-time program).

Courses are separated into four (4) twelve week terms. All students will begin their course work by taking Anatomy & Physiology and Introduction to Massage Therapy. Students then enter terms B,C,D which are taught on a rotating basis. The maximum student/faculty ratio for lectures is 60:1; for clinic and other hands-on training it is 13:1. Breaks are given between terms and range from 3-5 class days .
