These independent members of the school advise institutions of how to carry out
policies, they support activities of the school and surrounding community, share
information on current developments in the health field and serve as a guide to
the massage therapy profession.
Bonnie Barone, BA, is the National Sales Manager for
Suray Promotions. Bonnie’s expertise is in educating the customers on Healthy
Living. She worked in media for 15 years. Her background is in television, radio
and newspaper print. She has created campaigns for Roswell Park Hospital, Breast
Cancer Awareness, Benefits for Chiropractic and NYIM. Bonnie has a degree in
Business Management and is affiliated with local charities.
Bonnie L. Bizzozero, MS, LMT, is a 1998 graduate of
NYIM, holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Science Education from Syracuse University
and a Master’s Degree in Special Education from SUNY at Buffalo. Bonnie has her
own practice where she specializes in Craniosacral work, Visceral Manipulation,
Reiki, Medical & Orthopedic Massage and Myofascial Therapy.
Catherine F. Considine Courtney, RN, LMT, is a
graduate of D’Youville College and the New York Institute of Massage. She has
worked as the Risk Manager of a large local hospital and has had her own
successful massage therapy practice since 1996. Catherine is the former Director
of Education, ACT Coordinator, and Instructor at the New York Institute of
Massage. She is employed as an Associate Professor at Trocaire College where she
teaches Practical Nursing. Catherine specializes in Myofascial Therapy,
Pregnancy and Infant Massage. She introduced Massage Therapy services to the
Labor and Delivery unit at Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital.
Steven Dyviniak, MS, LMT, is a 1997 graduate of
NYIM, holds degrees in Science and Biology from SUNY Fredonia and is published
in scientific journals. He has a private practice in Springville, NY, and has
worked in medical and research sectors for over twenty years. Steve is active in
the NYIM Alumni Association.
Andrew Fleming, Esquire, is an attorney with
Chiacchia & Fleming, L.L.P., where he specializes in labor and employment law.
Mr. Fleming is a member of the Bar Association of Erie County and its Labor Law
Committee; the American Trial Lawyers Association, National Employment Lawyers &
Industrial Relations Research Associations.
Kathryn Muranyi, LMT, NCTMB, is a 1997 graduate of
NYIM and former Education Assistant at NYIM. Kathryn is the owner of Lotus
Massage. She is certified in Myofascial Therapy, Deep Tissue Massage,
Therapeutic Touch, and Reiki.
Hans Koritz, MD, graduated from medical school in
Zurich, Switzerland. He did post graduate training in Canada and specialized in
family medicine and anesthesiology. He relocated to the USA in 1995 where he
performs his expertise in pain medicine.
Eva Koritz, BS, RN, graduated with a business degree
from Sweden and training as a registered nurse in Zurich, Switzerland. Since
1983 she has worked together with her husband Hans in his practice and in 1996
she got involved with alternative health care which she is now independently
pursuing.
Michael Misiak, D.C., is a 1993 graduate of Logan
College of Chiropractic. Dr. Misiak is in private practice at Oak Orchard
Chiropractic in Albion, NY. Lisa Merritt-Misiak, D.C. is a 1993 graduate of
Logan College of Chiropractic. Dr. Misiak is in private practice at Oak Orchard

Andres Orffeo, LMT, is a 1998 graduate of NYIM. He
has over 20 years in the healthcare field, along with wife Ann, opened “Living
Well Massage Therapy” in Amherst, NY.
Ann Orffeo, RN, LMT, is a 1998 graduate of NYIM. She
has been a registered nurse for 17 years. She and her husband Andres, opened
“Living Well Massage Therapy” in Amherst, NY.
James Resetarits, BA, owner of Buffalo Design &
Print, has been in the printing and design arena for over 30 years. He graduated
with a Bachelor of Arts from the State University of New York College at
Buffalo. His mission statement is to provide graphic solutions with a unique and
upbeat point of view. Jim is a member of Advertising Specialties Institute,
assists local companies to promote their business through multimedia,
promotional ideas and print.
Patricia A. Senchack, LMT, graduated in 1999 as
Valedictorian of her class. She is a registered Occupational Therapist (retired)
specializing in physical disabilities, Pediatrics, Geriatrics and school based
and also has a part time home business in massage.
Kathryn Wagner, O.T., graduated from University at
Buffalo. She acquired a Masters degree from D’Youville College in Health
Services Administration. Kathryn is the president of a company she founded
called Complementary Health Network, LLC. Her goals include bringing holistic
services to more individuals through the utilization of Flexible Plan Benefits.
