Graduates who wish to practice before taking the state board exam may secure a provisional license through the state by arranging for a Licensed Massage Therapist to sponsor them. Before a provisional license is granted, all graduation requirements must be fulfilled. Candidates must be 18 years of age to meet eligibility requirements of the New York State exam.
