Class: PREGNANCY MASSAGE
Description: This 1 day course is designed for the Massage Therapist and Health Care Professionals that are interested in incorporating massage services for their pregnant clients into their practice. Topics will include: Preconception Massage Techniques, Physiological Changes in the Pregnant Woman, Common Discomforts of Pregnancy and Methods of Treatment, Positioning and Draping for the 3 trimesters, Complications of Pregnancy and Postpartum Massage Techniques. This course will also focus on Labor Massage Techniques that may augment a woman’s labor and reduce pain. A discussion of marketing methods will also be addressed. Students will receive a Certificate of Attendance upon completion of the day.
